New version of a footprint note

Dear all,

An upgraded version of our note "A footprint Specification using
current VO Standards: VOTABLE, SIA and STC Version 1.01" is now
available on the IVOA site.  The URL is: 
http://www.ivoa.net/Documents/latest/Footprint.html
It documents instrumental footprint support of tools like VirGO and Aladin.

This is just a note and has to be seen as a VOTABLE-based contribution 
to the definition of more general footprint standard, which will include 
pure STC xml-schema based definitions such as in the JHU service and
conversion rules.

   A collaborative effort is going to start on that topic under
responsability of the DAL working group.
