Hi Again!,

These are the notes from this week's meeting.


*Open Action Review:*

   - MCD/MS: contact interest groups regarding final notes
      - Follow-up with Radio group on their update
         - grammatical editing. can work starting this week. (1/2 way
         through October version)
         - FB: maybe Mark Lacey can take a pass.
      - HEIG Note; very close (Author list), comments from Jutta (nutrino
      domain)
         - FB/ML: some question regarding handling of Response functions
         (and similar)
         - ML: discussing with Bruno about Semantics in the note (new UCDs)
         may need update to note pointing to the vocabularies and ucds
      - PD/ML: complete ObsCore-1.1 in repository to taggable state *[DONE
   - see below]*
   - PH:
      - pushing model updates for v1.1
      - working towards a toolkit hands-on demo
   - MCD:
      - flesh out the ideas regarding new relations for VODML to support
      different normalizations of the same object.
         - ties-in with MANGO datetime changes from last iteration (and
         EpochPosition)

Projects:

   - MANGO
   - MCD: Tom has put together the submission paragraph for going to Exec.
      Next meeting is shortly after Easter.
   - Radio and HE Notes
      - ML: no movement on Radio note
      - HE Note iterating on vocabularies and points of contention
      regarding approach(es) for handling RMF-type data products
   - ObsCore-1.2
      - https://github.com/ivoa-std/ObsCore
      - document updated to fix the long tables, check and correct
      captions, correct refs on figures and tables
      - *would like review before tagging.*
   - VODML-1.1
      - PH: there has been some discussion on the proposed candidate list,
      mostly about the datatypes
         - have things to put in, and not put in at this point
         - would benefit from session segment to review/discuss the
         candidates and vote on their inclusion/exclusion for 1.1.  (raise
         visibility so we're sure most have had the opportunity to review and
         comment)
      - PH: there are also tooling updates to present.

Interop Preparation:

   - ObsCore extensions
      - HEIG suggests a plenary surrounding the ObsCore extension notes
         - to be discussed further at next HEIG meeting
      - ML: open question on how to declare a service which has multiple
      ObsCore extension support (DAL/REG)
      - MS: suggestion at TCG was more a DAL/DM joint session
         - session on the implementations (Radio and HE)?
      - MCD: other points of contention?
         - MS: some controversy in HE on how to support certain cases..
         either DataLink or ObsCore rows
            - MCD: implementations can help clarify/inform on viability of
            different approaches.  The integration of the Note
requirements/proposals
            into standards may lead to different solutions.
         - MCD: is this a DAL/DM discussion topic for the joint session?
      - MS: don't need a joint DM/Semantics session, but want
      inter-attendance between
         - DM-only session after joint session? to actively work on topics
      - ML: ?? something about an Occultation model (sorry, I didn't get
      the beginning part)
         - can ask them to do a DM presentation.
      - LM: probably nothing to present this time

Next Meeting:  Week of May 4-8 - MS will send a poll.



New Actions:

   - All - review ObsCore-1.1 document in git repository (for gross
   errors.. the goal is to have something which properly represents the
   current REC PDF content.)
