Expressing 2- and 3-D coordinates

Can we have some sort of decision on this matter? A number of us are 
building VOEvent prototypes, and we need to make a decision between two 
ways of representing coordinates, either

(a) STC with the lists split into separate elements, meaning a revised 
STC schema, or

(b) VOEvent WG builds and recommends an alternate to STC which is built 
into the VOEvent schema -- we would fix the frame at J2000 and just use 
<RA> and <Dec> and <Error> tags.

If the DM group can agree that splitting lists is kosher/halal/godly, 
then we take route (a) and I then ask Arnold how long it will take him 
to produce a schema that allows this.

If the DM group prefers to keep XML lists in their "pure" form without 
the requested modification, can somebody please inform the VOEvent WG, 
so that we can make our own set of space-time tags, so we can get on 
with the prototypes?

Should I organize some sort of vote? With purple ink? :-)
