Is VOEvent v2.0 ready for prime time?

A quick show of hands as a reality check.
One of our brethren suggests that the vigorous discourse exhibited in the last few days in the VOEvent WG represents an unripe v2.0 PR. I obviously see it otherwise or would not have moved the document to PR.
By this time the IVOA has seen many documents move through the RFC process. It is unremarkable that comments are made during this period (the "C" in RFC), and that the final document adapts to suit. In this case we are not yet in RFC, and even so should all be gratified to see VOEvent provoke substantive discussions yet again.
Please respond: Ready for RFC? Yes ( ) No ( )
If you answer in the negative, please describe the advantage of delaying at this point, and what steps you deem necessary to reach the proper blessed state.
Also, note that three stations of the cross remain. The minimum duration of the RFC period is four weeks. It may extend longer as needed. After RFC comes review by the IVOA TCG (Technical Coordination Group). Nominally four weeks, but may extend longer. Then a final up/down vote by the IVOA Exec. Nominally two weeks. In fact, the only control a WG does have is to declare when the process starts. Should we "unstart" it?
Thanks!
Rob
