CAP

There's an ongoing discussion of some length on the hitherto dormant
semantics list about whether any standard vocabulary ought to conform to /
extend existing vocabulary standards like SKOS.
 
I've just discovered that there is an OASIS alerting standard called CAP
(Common Alerting <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Alerting_Protocol>
Protocol) and wondered how it might relate to VOEvent?
