So you want to design the VOEvent logo?

Howdy,

It is likely a sign of the maturity of VOEvent that its use in the  
nifty page Alasdair points us to passes without note.  However, the  
more political lobe of my brain suggests that VOEvent - and VO in  
general - still needs as much publicity as possible.  VOEvent could  
benefit from a logo that can be placed on the appropriate pages of  
conforming projects (and used to link back to some public contact  
page of the WG).

VOEventNet is using the Tycho's star image:

		
Suggest we come up with some time domain, event driven, celestial  
sphere sort of a thing.  It's Summer in America, which means not only  
new wars to fight in the Mideast, but much more significantly, it's  
prime time for reality TV shows.  The judges for the "So you want to  
design the VOEvent logo?" show will be the group as a whole.  As a  
prize, I'll buy the winner a beer (16 full ounces of microbrewed  
bliss) at the looming Tucson ADASS.
