Vocabularies: formal parenthesis

Hi all,

this is to tell you that, as remarked by Tony, up to now we were not
precisely following IVOA prescriptions.

Indeed, according to the Guidelines and Procedures for IVOA Document
Standards Management, Version 1.0 (
http://ivoa.net/Documents/latest/DocStdProc.html ):

"...
IVOA official documents begin as Working Drafts. Working Drafts are
the purview of a Working Group. Working Drafts may undergo numerous
revisions during their development. During this volatile phase
Working Drafts will not be included in the formal IVOA document
collection, but rather will be maintained by the responsible working
group in its area of the IVOA TWiki 2. Such works-in-progress should
carry version numbers of the form 0.#[#]
...
Once a working group has reached internal agreement on a document, the
chair of the working group submits the Working Draft to the Document
Coordinator for publication in the IVOA Document Collection. The
Document Coordinator assigns version 1.0 "

So please note that the document we are so lively discussing :

is actually version 0.11, NOT version 1.01,

and that its legal address is

http://www.ivoa.net/internal/IVOA/IvoaSemantics/VOcabularies-20070903.pdf (or
.html), NOT http://ivoa.net/Documents/latest/VOcabularies.html , which
should be suppressed by the DocumentCoordinator.

End of the formal parenthesis.

Back to discussion.

Cheers
Andrea
