Resource Metadata V1.1 draft

Bob,

Did you post this yet? I couldn't find it in the ivoa site.

For documentation on the registry resource metadata, I currently
reference the descriptions in the previous recommended RM doc although I
plan to include some 'examples'.

For an 'identifier':

In the RM doc, there is a reference to the document repository which a
person would have to search through to find the document which defines
what an identifier is. I assume this is because it is still a proposed
standard? Since a strong base for exchanging resources depends on the
correctness of this meta term, it would be helpful to make this
clearer. Not sure how best to do this.

Subject: Resource Metadata V1.1 draft

Attached please find Word (with change tracking) and PDF versions of a
draft revision to the Resource Metadata document. The revisions are of
sufficient magnitude that I believe this requires a step back to Working
Draft. It is also an opportunity to insert or clarify other metadata
elements. The changes I suggest here come largely from the NVO
experience in registry metadata curation. Also, I have tried to be
consistent with the Space-Time Coordinates definitions, and to this end
thank Arnold Rots for several very helpful e-mail and phone discussions.

I will post these on the IVOA site next week after tidying up a few
formatting glitches.

Cheers,
Bob
