Resource Metadata Schema for SkyNode

May I assume that the SkyNode schema will have xsi:type of "SkyNode" ?

<Resrouce xsi:type="SkyNode">
    ...
</Resource>

We need to distiguish the type of data service like SkyNode and SIAP.
Is "xsi:type" of the Resource element appropriate for such purpose ?
