RWP03: standard for documentation of astronomical catalogues

Hi all,

I came across an interesting page on the CDS website that may pertain to
the Metadata workpackage.  A lot of the astronomers may have already seen
this, but computer types like me may not:

"This document details the standards adopted for the documentation of
astronomical catalogues in its version Version 2.0, dated February 2000. A
short overview of the conventions, with some tips on how to fill the
ReadMe file, is also available."
