IVOA Interop May 2020 in Sydney is canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak

Dear VO community,

Due to the current outbreak status of COVID-19 coronavirus around the 
world, it is very hard even if not impossible for us having a successful 
Interoperability meeting in May. After detailed discussion by the IVOA 
Exec, we decide to cancel the Sydney meeting which is planned from May 
4th to 8th. We are very sorry for the inconveniences brought by the 
decision.

At the same time, the Exec decided to extend the time of Granada meeting 
in November to 4 or 5 days. The Exec suggests TCG and WGs/IGs organize a 
set of virtual meetings to compensate for the lack of the Sydney meeting.

We sincerely thank Simon O'Toole and his LOC team for their hard work on 
the Northern Spring Interop. We also thank Enrique Solano Marquez and 
his team for their support for the Granada meeting.

BTW, to support the LOC and logistics of the Granada meeting, some 
registration fee need be collected.
