Dear Colleagues,



The Digitization Program Office (DPO) is pleased to announce the biennial
Smithsonian Digitization Conference will take place this October 8th-10th.
The theme is “Engagement,” and this year’s event will explore how cultural
heritage organizations like the Smithsonian are using digital strategies to
foster greater creativity, learning, research, and enrichment. The event is
open to the public, and will feature keynotes, presentations, panel
discussions, demos, workshops and a hackathon event.  Feel free to share
the attached “Save the Date” flyer with anyone you think may be interested.



A full program will be available over the next few weeks. Stay tuned, and
save the date.
