Inauguration of the new Education IG in Heidelberg (Interop May 2013)

Dear All,

it is a pleasure to inform you of the existence of a new Interest Group 
on Education.
The webpage where to find rationale and terms of reference is the following:

At the Heidelberg meeting in May, Edu IG will have two parallel sessions 
on Thursday
May 16 (see http://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/InterOpMay2013) and 
a 30 min
slot during the plenary session of Friday 17th.

It will be important  for the future of the IG to have free and open 
discussions along the
lines of the terms of reference, in particular on how to implement them.
Technical contributions, either on the VO side or on the pedagogical 
side, will be
most welcome too.

Please, let us now if you have a contribution to share during the sessions
so that we can schedule it.

For those that will not be in Heidelberg, please consider contributing
to the Edu IG wiki page or sending messages to the education mailing list
