Announcement of RFC for VOSI

Hi,

I am pleased to announce the commencement of the RFC period for the Proposed Recommendation "IVOA Support Interfaces v1.0" (also known as VOSI). This will run from: 9 April - 14 May 2010. The page for your comments on this specification is: http://www.ivoa.net/cgi-bin/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/VOSIV1RFC.

This specification describes the minimum required interface to participate in the IVOA as a web service. It is an essential component of the TAP specification and so any TAP implementation also serves as a VOSI implementation.
