VOTable1.2 RFC

Dear All,

The RFC period for VOTable 1.2©is now over;
in this comments, Mark Taylor is raising questions that
would benefit from other IVOAers opinions. In this
perpective, the RFC period was just expanded for a
few more days: the very last day for the public RFC
at  
   http://www.ivoa.net/cgi-bin/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/RfcPage
is now
   September 09 (09/09/09 -- easy to remember!)
