Characterization Note

Dear ivoa members,
    A new IVOA Note has been published yesterday by the DM Working group
"Data Model for Astronomical DataSet Characterisation". An earlier
version of this document had been published in November on the DM Working
group pages. This document gives a detailed description of the model
in its current status and reflects the discussions about this model.
    Please send your comments on the DM forum. A denser document, seen
as a working draft is currently prepared. the DM group is also working on
test implementations.
