Proposal to prune Standard Interfaces 0.1

Hi,

There was a brief mention of logging at the recent NVO team meeting and I
think the consensus is that it is an important thing. Given this, it
should be something that is in the spec from the start and not shoehorned
in later when all sorts of different implementations might be kicking
around. I would therefore be reluctant to remove it from SI-0.1 and would
rather see it flagged as optional at this stage.
