Dear All,

at the upcoming Global Grid Forum meeting in Chicago (5-8 Oct 2003) - see
www.ggf.org - there will be a Birds of a Feather session which starts of
the process of forming a Astronomy Research Group at the GGF. I attach the
draft charter to this message.

This will give the Astro and IVOA VO communities a chance to input astro
requirements into the 'grid' standards process.

I would encourage those of you interested in this area to aim to attend
this GGF meeting. Hope to see you there. (Note that early registration
closes sept 26.)

Please forward this message to those that may be interested.

Yours

Nic Walton
