Here are the notes form the last running meeting :

DM running meeting

Tuesday 5th May at 1pm UTC

Participants: Mireille, Marco, Patrick, Mathieu

  * Final review of ObsCore repo before tagging v1.1 and moving to 1.2:
      o https://github.com/ivoa-std/ObsCore
        <https://github.com/ivoa-std/ObsCore>
      o some proposed attributes from extensions would integrate the
        core table
      o add mention to external vocabularies (product_type...)
      o related to DALI 1.2 (RFC)
          + change def of s_region to refer to DALI (xtype), see also
            TAP 1.0
          + multishape, MOC?
      o specify extension mechanism
          + from Radio, add an extra table (CAOM 2.5)
          + HE example : one single table
          + Registry : TapRegEx, new types on the table of the TAP
            Schema ? use utypes in TAP schema => propose utypes in the
            ObsCore REC
  * Status of the ObsCore extension notes
      o Radio
          + recent reviews by Mireille and François, inc. comments from
            Markus
          + mostly typos
      o HE
          + few PR closed, few more to include, but version stabilized
            for plenary in Strasbourg
      o Meaning of "endorsed note"
          + Should be in DocStd document
          + https://github.com/ivoa-std/DocStd/issues/1
            <https://github.com/ivoa-std/DocStd/issues/1>
          + still unclear, as an endorsed note is not a recommandation,
            but may appear as one
  * Preparation of DM sessions
      o ObsCore Plenary: Tue June 9, 14:00 - 15:30
          + HE Interest Group led session
          + include some Radio implementation?
              # tables in CAOM 2.5 for radio astronomy (P. Dowler)
              # TAP server with radio data (M. Demleitner?)
      o DM Session: Tue June 9, 16:00 - 17:30
          + very few presentations
          + time for discussions and decisions on ObsCore
      o DAL/DM Session: Thu June 11, 16:00 - 17:30
          + --> session prepared by CSP ?
  * Topic in the roadmap
