Metadata schema for instruments

Dear colleagues,

The Research Data Alliance (RDA) has a Working Group on PID for 
Instruments. They recently published an output on Metadata Schema for 
the Persistent Identification of Instruments. A Request for Comments is 
open until February 10th at:

Have a look if you are interested in the subject. Their previous output 
(2020), which provides two tested approaches for persistent 
identification of instruments, is here:

All RDA members can join the Group and post a comment on the RfC page. 
The WG seeks to explore a community-driven solution for globally unique 
identification of measuring instruments operated in the sciences. Its
