<p>The Research Data Alliance (RDA) has a Working Group on PID for
Instruments. They recently published an output on Metadata Schema
for the Persistent Identification of Instruments. A Request for
Comments is open until February 10th at:</p>

<p>All RDA members can join the Group and post a comment on the RfC
page. The WG seeks to explore a community-driven solution for
globally unique identification of measuring instruments operated
