ADQL-2.1 internal draft

Hi all,

To start the process .. an initial list of platforms and sites using 
them:

     PostgreSQL      GAVO, ESAC/GACS, CDS
     MySQL
     MariaDB
     SQLServer       ROE
     Sybase          CADC
     Oracle          Caltech
     SQLite          Caltech
     HyperSQL
     Derby

If you have any others to add let me know.

I'm happy to test and verify things on SQLServer. Any volunteers to 
provide testing and verification for the others ?

Suggested acceptance criteria for SQL features, e.g. bitwise or set 
operations.

     1) Must be implementable(*) on the target platforms
     2) Must have a clearly defined grammar
     3) Must have a clear description of the behaviour
     4) ... ?

Acceptance criteria for astronomy features, e.g. IN_UNIT and cross match

     1) Do we need two independent implementations ?
     2) Must have a clearly defined grammar
     3) Must have a clear description of the behaviour
     4) ... ?

Acceptance criteria for database extensions, e.g. module to implement 
XOR

     1) ... ?

All suggestions and comments welcome, by email or in the ADQL session at 
the conference.
