<FIELD ID="name" name="Name" ucd="meta.id;meta.main" datatype="char"
           arraysize="32" width="32">
     <DESCRIPTION>Solar system object name</DESCRIPTION>
     <LINK

href="http://vizier.u-strasbg.fr/cgi-bin/VizieR-5?-source=B/astorb/astorb&Name===${Name}"/>
</FIELD>

In the case we are discussing, the PARAM-LINK stuff is in a separate
resource from the FIELD(s) and a service description could have multiple
PARAM-LINK pairs. The DataLink case specifically has only one which is
deceptively too simple. IT is not in general a special link involving a
single FIELD, as the above example shows.

See also my response in main thread about the content-role. I don't
think it is technically needed to describe the service.
