SSA validator

Hi Matthew,

The validation service at the HEASARC uses the VO Paris validator to check registered
SSA services.  (e.g., http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/vo/validation/vresults.pl?turnoff=&show=View+Results+by+Type).
You can click on 'SSA' in the table in  the page above to go from the summary page to a listing of all of the SSA services.

Looking at this right now 3 of the 76 registered SSA services seem to pass validation (they are all at MAST but not all 
MAST SSA's pass). No validator is exhaustive and this one has a fair number of options, so I'd look at both positive and 
negative results with a bit of skepticism, but these 3 services might be one place to start if you are looking for fully 
compliant services.

The (nominally) passing services are:
   ivo://mast.stsci/ssap/hst/fos
   ivo://mast.stsci/ssap/hst/ghrs
   ivo://mast.stsci.edu/ssap/iue

For the other services, you can click on the 'Fail' link to see why they failed validation.
