Thanks for the quick answer Adam,

Maybe would you be available to participate in a short telecon earlier than that in persona meeting itself to discuss possible interactions between astropy, in particular astroquery and the VO ? I think that would be very useful already.

Best regards,

Bruno

Please forgive me for sending you a direct email like this but I wanted to reach out to all of you to ask whether you would see some interest in establishing some sort of discussion about possible cooperations between the astropy community and the IVOA <http://ivoa.net/> community, which I am currently representing as member of its Committee on Science Priorities (CSP, in copy). We of course think that enhancing the mutual awareness might be positive for everyone, mostly given the recent changes on both sides. Hence my message.

Would some of you available and interested to join the meeting, even if remotely, to give a general presentation about astropy and then maybe also to participate on a discussion about possible synergies? We would be very grateful for that. What do you think?

Would that be possible?
