HiPS3D standard and tools

Dear Apps and TD members,

The CDS is pleased to announce the release of a *new version of Hipsgen 
and Aladin Desktop* (beta version). These tools implement the extensions 
described in the recently publishedHiPS 2.0 Working Draft 
<https://www.ivoa.net/documents/HiPS/20260501/index.html>, notably the 
*spatio-temporal HiPS3D* support,which will be presented next week at 
Interop IVOA in Strasbourg (Application/TimeDomain session).

  * *Key new features in Hipsgen*: generation of spatio-temporal HiPS3D
    (in addition to spatio-frequential), faster (3-4x), more robust
  * *Key new features in Aladin Desktop*: visualization of
    spatio-temporal HiPS3D (in addition to spatio-frequential), smoother
    rendering, new HiPS3D branch in the resource tree

These two tools are currently packaged together under the name 
AladinBeta version 12.675 at 
https://aladin.cds.unistra.fr/java/AladinBeta.jar
