<p>Dear Apps and TD members,</p>
<p>The CDS is pleased to announce the release of a <b>new version
of Hipsgen and Aladin Desktop</b> (beta version). These tools
implement the extensions described in the recently published<a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://www.ivoa.net/documents/HiPS/20260501/index.html">
HiPS 2.0 Working Draft</a>, notably the <b>spatio-temporal
HiPS3D</b> support,which will be presented next week at Interop
IVOA in Strasbourg (Application/TimeDomain session).</p>
<ul>
<li><b>Key new features in Hipsgen</b>: generation of
spatio-temporal HiPS3D (in addition to spatio-frequential),
faster (3-4x), more robust</li>
<li><b>Key new features in Aladin Desktop</b>: visualization of
spatio-temporal HiPS3D (in addition to spatio-frequential),
smoother rendering, new HiPS3D branch in the resource tree</li>
</ul>
<p>These two tools are currently packaged together under the name
AladinBeta version 12.675 at
