Dear application enthusiasts,

this is a call for contributions to the Applications WG sessions at
the IVOA Interop meeting next month at ESAC.

We have three 'show and tell' type sessions, and invite presentations
of work on desktop applications, web applications, tools or libraries
relevant to the Virtual Observatory, particularly those which make use
of IVOA standards. We also welcome talks that show use of VO tools
or protocols to do science. And if you want to present something
to stimulate discussion relevant to the applications community,
or have something to say which doesn't really fit into other
sessions at the meeting, we'll consider that too.

The format is generally talks of about 15 minutes, though the exact
timings will depend on the number of submissions. I would like
to have a fairly complete schedule in place by about 5 May, so
please send requests for talks (title + presenter, optionally with
a short abstract) to me by then if possible.

There will also be a plenary Apps session on codebases and repositories,
following up the recent discussion on the Apps mailing list.
I have yet to work out how that will be organised (probably mostly
discussion), but if you want so suggest contributions to that,
please let me know.

Mark
