SAMP in SOHO Science Archive

Dear all,

we thought you might be interested to know about the SOHO Science  
Archive, recently released to the Solar Physics community.

Although this is not sctrictly an Astronomical archive, we have  
implemented SAMP access on it, so that images of the Sun (from the  
archives detailed panel) can be sent to Aladin for visualisation. We  
will be adding more file type capabilities to be able to send other  
products (like time series, spectra, etc.) to other IVOA tools.

You can see an example in the attached video.
