Progress on SAMP and apps-samp mailing list

Hi everyone,

I'd like to bring to your attention the recent progress on SAMP - Simple
Applications Messaging Protocol. The lead authors (Boch, Fitzpatrick, Taylor)
have put a significant amount of work into the draft document, which is now posted
for discussion on the apps-samp mailing list. This mailing list is completely open
and a number of threads have been set up to discuss the various issues.
