JSAMP v1.1

Hi,

this is to announce the release of JSAMP v1.1.

JSAMP is a Java toolkit and hub implementation for SAMP.
The current version is available at:

   http://software.astrogrid.org/doc/jsamp/

Highlights of the changes at this version are:

   - Use of SAMP_HUB environment variable, as per the modified
        Standard Profile hub discovery mechanism documented in
        the SAMP 1.2 WD (online real soon now)
   - The hub will insert itself as an icon in the "System Tray"
        when possible (java 1.6+, suitable desktop)
   - For convenience, invoking the jar file (e.g. java -jar or
        clicking on it) now starts the hub, rather than printing
        a usage message

as well as some mostly minor bugfixes and other items.

Application authors using the JSAMP library are encouraged to upgrade.
Backward compatibility issues should be minor, but there may be some -
