Dear SAMP,
As Tom has said, we are planning one session at the Strasbourg Interop
to showcase applications with SAMP functionality. Demos or presentations
would be good, but even for tools which don't want to make a presentation,
or for which the authors will not be attending, I'd like to have a
list of which tools talk SAMP and what related capabilities they provide
(e.g. which MTypes they subscribe to and send). So if you would like
to give a SAMP-related (or other) presentation, mail Tom as per his
request, but if you don't plan to give a presentation but do have a
SAMP-compliant tool, I'd be grateful if you could send me a summary
so I can mention it at the meeting. Implementation schedules or
plans for the forseeable future would be welcome too. A list of
available/imminent tools and capabilities will be useful both
for the SAMP developer community and for spectators.
We don't currently have any time scheduled for discussion of the SAMP
standard, since I don't think there are any issues with the current
1.11 very-nearly-Recommendation at present. If you feel differently
and believe there are SAMP issues we ought to be discussing in May,
please say so and we may be able to schedule some time for it.
Mark
