SAMP MType parameters issue

Thanks to all for the explanation. It isn't worth a battle but in general
I'm
not happy with the idea of a message syntax being dictated by what is
enabled by syntactic sugar; are we on the road to adding a '$' so Perl
can do tricks as well?

Hyphens aren't legal in many languages for variable names but it doesn't
matter because there is a recognized difference between a variable name
in an implementation and the *value* of that variable at runtime which
has nothing to do with the allowed syntax of the language being used. The
non-pythonic approach is ugly as written only because everything is crammed
into one method call, it would be ugly in other languages as well, and could
be made cleaner in Python or other langs just as easily.
