In a recent TCG meeting there was some discussion about the desire for a 
parser / validator / generator for the VOEvent 2.0 schema for this Interop.

For those familiar with my vo-models package, I have added draft support 
for the VOEvent schema in a development branch available here: 
https://github.com/spacetelescope/vo-models/tree/VOEvent

Tests and documentation still need to be written, but for folks who are 
already familiar with the package and its use, I encourage you to give 
it a quick try. I am hopeful to support finished and published sometime 
during or immediately after the Interop.
