Comet release 3.0.0

Dear all,

I’m pleased to announce the release of version 3.0.0 of Comet, my
implementation of the VOEvent Transport Protocol.

This release introduces support for Python 3. It is the last major
release which will work with Python 2.7.

It also contains a number of new features, minor improvements, and bug
fixes. Details are available from:

Comet is available for download from:

  http://comet.transientskp.org/

It is also available from PyPI by running:

  $ pip install comet
