VOEvent code inventory

Hi,

Some of us were talking about writing a particular bit of useful  
VOEvent-aware client code and the question of what code is already  
available came up.  We were aware of various stalwart efforts, but  
likely not all.  Then there are all the related issues of developing a  
central code repository, configuration control, yadda-yadda.  Perhaps  
the best place to start is just to chat about the parameters of a  
small initiative to generate an initial inventory.
