web site problems

All,

The machine hosting estar.org.uk, telescope-networks.org and
constellation-rtn.eu has died. It's being looked at, hold onto your
hats...

A few problems develop as I try and remember all the places that talk
to the main website, but actual observing shouldn't be affected. The
eSTAR microlensing override and status pages should be operating
fine, if you can remember the obscure URL to get to them, as the web
services behind these pages aren't hosted on the main webserver.
However the iPhone/iPod touch interface, which is partially hosted on
this server, has been knocked offline.

This also knocks the eSTAR VOEvent RSS and KML feeds offline, but the
vanilla TCP backbone should stay up as normal. There may be some
knock on affects to the eSTAR event broker as it tries and fails to
contact the main web server. These should be fairly minor.

There shouldn't be any operational hits from telescope-networks.org
going offline at this time.

Mark, you might want to pass on the news of constellation-rtn.eu site
dropping to the relevant people.

More news when I have some...

Apologies,
Al.
