I agree with all of this...

...and with this, with the caveat that the agreed XML will (from the  
HTN side of things) also be injected into RTML documents passed  
between the robotic telescopes and software running the observing  
programmes on them as part of the negotiation preceding  time  
allocation, and for data return after the observations have completed.
