github ivoa-std usage: master branch

Last year there was a move in the git community to stop using "master"
branch; see

https://github.com/github/renaming

or google for more background. Some new repos have the default "main"
branch and others have "master" for historic or technical reasons, so we
already have some inconsistencies.

I value consistency, so I think there are two options:
1. minimal impact: set the default to "master" and rename the few "main"
branches that were created since github changed the default
2. change all ivoa-std repos to have a "main" branch

Thoughts?
