I obviously concur with Baptiste's answers.
Some precisions:
- The celestial body issue is relevant only for EPN-TAP data somehow located on a body - this is not all solar system data, some are provided in sky coordinates or no coordinates at all (e.g., asteroid lists). The first case is similar to astronomical objects of course.
- Even in this case, the data may be located in an atmospheric or magnetospheric frame, not always tied to the surface.
- As Baptiste mentions, some services include data related to various bodies. This is expected to become more and more common as we progress in cross-correlating independent datasets. In EPNCore this is supported by parameters providing coordinate frame and body for each granule (line in the table). In principle such tables are not intended for global plotting, but you may want to grab the lines relevant to Mars only from such a table.
