One of my focus areas are methodological and high-level aspects of semantic modeling. I serve in ontology governance groups elsewhere, and as presented during my introduction some time past--I formally studied ontology for my masters. Fyi: I gave a presentation in ivoa semantics a couple years (?) ago.
