[Interop College park]Call for contributions for next Interop Semantics session / Theory session

Dear all,
I'm a colleague of Marco's and, as he stated, I would present our activity
during the Theory dedicated session.
We are involved in the ExaNeSt H2020 EU-funded project, which aims at the
design and development of an exascale ready
supercomputer. Astrophysical codes are playing a fundamental role to
validate the exascale platform.
We are redesigning a N-body code, and other codes suited to perform
large-scale, high resolution numerical
simulations of cosmic structures and evolution (GADGET) and to generate
catalogues of collapsed dark-matter halos
in cosmological volumes (PINOCCHIO). We will need to face the necessity of
archiving large datasets.
I could give an overview on these topics, let's say in 15 minutes.

not sure it's feasible but, if the above contributions
can be reverted to a Theory dedicated session,
colleagues of mine could bring a presentation
about experience in the use of N-Body codes and
the necessity of archiving large datasets produced by
test-simulations. They run these particular simulations
for debugging  and profiling purposes, in particular when
re-designing the codes for new HPC facilities (e.g.
ExaScale prototypes) and for testing reproducibility
of numerical results.
