Hi all. I didn't realise I was going to provoke such a storm by offering to
coordinate what seemed to be a newly arisen piece of work. It seems that
both the UCD workgroup and the DM workgroup want to 'own' semantics, while
I've suggested that we need an Interest Group separate from the existing
Work Groups simply as a talking place.

Anyway, I've suggested that the Exec sort it out at its next telecon while
we get on with defining a charter, roadmap and possible actions. At least,
then, if the exec want to put this topic under an existing workgroup,
they'll have some work already to get started with.

Does that sound okay to everyone else as a way forward? Are you happy to
post here until the exec sort out a final home for the work?
