If you grab

   https://www.star.bristol.ac.uk/mbt/releases/topcat/pre/topcat-full_colstats.j
ar

and look at e.g. the column metadata for table hipparcos.main
from GAVO DC in the TAP window, you will see there are now 
entries for statistics information as provided, in this case 
fillFactor, min, max, percentile03, median, percentile97.

The taplint runnable from this jar file 
(java -jar topcat-full_colstats.jar -stilts taplint)
is also aware of the change to the VODataService XSD,
so you can use this if you have stats in your VODataService
and don't want taplint to give you a load of E-TMV errors
complaining about it.
