TAPRegExt Internal Working Draft

Dear Registry and DAL folks,

I've just put up a first internal working draft of TAPRegExt at

http://vo.ari.uni-heidelberg.de/docs/TAPRegExt-20110120.html

As usual, please comment on

http://www.ivoa.net/cgi-bin/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/TAPRegExt

(I've put a first question there already, waiting for your answers).

I'm not sure how we progress now. If we are keen on keeping the
schedule, I think "we" (for some suitable sense of the word) might
just decide to call this a Working Draft, right?

I'd volunteer to make the necessary changes in the text, but I'm
basically not available Jan 31 through Feb 5, so you'd need to
encourage me to do that next week.

OTOH, at least I'm not too worried about WD status. Feedback, on the
other hand, I'd highly appreciate. Note also that this has been the
first schema I've authored, so expert opinions on this are
particularly welcome.[1]

Cheers,

      Markus

PS: Thanks to Mark Taylor for much useful input on this document.

[1] One thing that could use an expert hand is the limits. For
those, an XSD equivalent of C++ templates could provide a marginal
improvement -- if it exists.
