Subject: New specification and web site

All,

As you may know, we recently published a paper entitled "A Grid
Application Framework based on Web Services Specifications and
Practices", with the aim of providing input into the discussion of the
possible future evolution of OGSI.

We have now created a web site with information about our proposal,
links to related discussions, documents, articles, a FAQ list, and
contacts.

We are also making available the "Grid Resource Specification" for
globally and uniquely identifying resources on the Grid, along with
associated metadata. The specification is an extension of the DataRef,
proposed in our original paper, to all types of resources.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at the discussion of these
ideas at the allocated GGF9 session next week (Tuesday, 7 October in
