[Radioig] Joint session with Advanced Data Products Coordination Group

[Mark Kettenis]

Dear Radio VO Enthousiasts,

As announced some time ago, there will be a a meeting of the Advanced
Data Products Coordination Group next week with a joint session with
the IVOA Radio Astronomy Interest Group. The program for that meeting
has been finalized and the joint session will be held on:

  Wednesday 21 October from 09:00 - 12:00 (with a break from 10:30-11:00)

The goal of this session is to identify areas where the IVOA can help
with standardization, dissemination and discovery of (future) advanced
data products offered by radio observatories (e.g. things beyond
visibility data and plain images).

I'll start the session with an introduction of the IVOA and the Radio
Astronomy Interest Group and a presentation on the Radio Obscore
extension work. This will be followed by an open discussion.

You're welcome to join this session remotely. If you're interested,
just let me know by sending an e-mail (kettenis at jive.eu) and I'll send
you a link (hopefully the day before, probably Microsoft Teams,
possibly Zoom).

Cheers,

Mark
