[Radioig] Validation of the Obscore radio extension Note : still stalled

Dear all ,

This a call to the authors of the ObsCore Radio Extension Note available at

https://github.com/ivoa-std/ObsCoreExtensionForRadioData (see the blue 
preview /pdf button at the bottom page to get the pdf)

The note is stalled in the recommendation process since the last 
interoperability in November 2025.

I think it is important to proceed for the document review in order to 
get feedback for radio data , and consolidate
this work.
This as taken some time for many of us to summarize uses cases and 
propose a simple way to expose radio data in ObsTAP using a radio 
extension table.

I think we need this validation to proceed in the next steps of Obscore 
1.2 and stabilize the extension mechanism.
The same strategy of table extensions is currently studied for High 
Energy data distribution, so the advantage to expose this work in the VO
is important.

I suggest all authors can give it a new read by end of April and provide 
comments on a radio IG recommendation page first .

Then the document can be sent to TCG for review by April 30, be 
discussed in TCG in May so that we can have a vote before
or at the interop meeting in June.
