From kettenis at jive.eu Tue Feb 3 15:36:04 2026 From: kettenis at jive.eu (Mark Kettenis) Date: Tue, 03 Feb 2026 15:36:04 +0100 Subject: [Radioig] Joint meeting with Advanced Data Products Coordination Group Message-ID: Dear Radio Astronomy Interest Group members, Eric Villard (ESO), the chair of the (somewhat) recently formed Advanced Data Products Coordination Group has contacted me with the idea of organzing a joint meeting with the IVOA Radio Interest Group. Some of you are a member of the ADPCG, but for those that aren't aware, this is a group of radio observatories that are discussing on how to improve advanced data products derived from the traditional data products that radio observatories offer and make them available to a wider audience [1]. This naturally aligns with the goals of our interest group, and I think it would be an excellent idea to have a joint meeting where we can discuss how current and future IVOA standards can help to achieve these goals. The proposal is to have a face-to-face meeting (with a posibility for remote attendance) hosted by ASTRON in Dwingeloo, The Netherlands in the week of October 12-16. To get an idea about the interest in this meeting, Eric has created a form: https://forms.office.com/e/RieqX267Hq Please fill in this form if you're interested in attending such a meeting.
