Subject: [Ops] MOCs in ADQL

Hi James,
The poster from the Tucson ADASS about MOCs in ADQL is here:
https://adass2023.lpl.arizona.edu/events/poster-p102
It would really be great if there was a second implementation of
that...
And one last time: I'd really like to help producing Registry records
out of your table metadata...
Thanks,
Markus

Dear Ops,
Well, sorry about this mail without any context; it was a followup to
a lunch chat with James, and I hadn't bothered to properly read the
clear name.
But then the Mail is *not entirely* inappropriate for this list,
because:

MOCs in ADQL are great! If you're running a TAP service that's not
DaCHS but has a postgres backend: Support them. It's not hard at
all.

That sounds a lot less apologetic that I had meant it: I was sorry
that I had bugged James about having individual registry records for
the many tables in DataCentral's TAP service, which is great for
proper data discovery. The "last time" was a promise to finally shut
up about it.
Well, promise broken, but perhaps my excuse is that I'm not looking
at James now. You see, if you have an obscore table, please register
it as suggested in ; and
please don't rely on the tableset for tables in your TAP services:
People want to see proper descriptions, titles, creators, coverage,
and all the other niceties that VOResource gives you in the
rr.resource table. In case you are unsure what I am talking about,
let me point you to .
And with that: Sorry for the interruption.
